More precision, full process control and simple operation: FIAM is launching a new generation of electric nutrunner motors together with a matching control and power supply unit.
Anyone automating screw fastening needs one thing above all: results that can be reliably repeated in every cycle. This is exactly where FIAM comes in with the new E-MCB electric nutrunner motors and the E-TCS control unit. Both components are developed entirely by FIAM and are perfectly matched. Torque, angle and tightening time are monitored without gaps, so you can control your production process safely and easily.
E-MCB nutrunner motors: wide torque range, precise control
The E-MCB series comprises 44 models in three sizes with diameters of 32, 36 and 53 mm. Two versions are available for torque and angle control:
- integrated transducer with encoder
- current control with encoder

The E-TCS is operated via a colour touchscreen and keeps even complex processes clear:
- Control and monitoring of all tightening cycle parameters
- Several tightening strategies
- Real time calculation of Cm and Cmk
- 100 jobs with 100 tasks each and 12 steps per task, freely configurable
- Programming via wizard and Poka Yoke directly from the interface
- Real time display of torque, angle and tightening time
- Graphs and logs of the last 200 tightenings
- Memory for more than 1 million cycles
Optional interface modules for Profinet, EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP/IP are available for connection to your system. This makes the system ready for Industry 4.0.
