DISA AG Sarnen distributes Mark-10 and is the official European service center for Mark-10 products. The digital force gauges of the Series 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 measure tension and compression forces, handheld or mounted on a test stand.

Which force gauge suits your test?

Choose the gauge by maximum force, accuracy, sampling rate and interface. Our sales team will be happy to advise you.

What is a digital force gauge?

A digital force gauge measures tension and compression forces with a load sensor and shows the value directly on the display. The Mark-10 gauges can be used handheld or mounted on a test stand.

Which measuring ranges are available?

Series 2: 10 N to 2500 N. Series 3: 0.5 N to 2500 N. Series 4 and Series 7: 0.5 N to 2500 N. Series 5: 0.5 N to 10 kN.

How accurate are the gauges?

Accuracy of full scale is ±0.5% for Series 2, ±0.3% for Series 3, ±0.2% for Series 4 and ±0.1% for Series 5 and 7.

What is the difference between Series 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7?

Series 2 is intended for simple tests (500 Hz). Series 3 suits higher dynamic requirements (2000 Hz). Series 4 offers memory and statistics (3000 Hz). Series 5 is designed for data acquisition with MESUR™ Lite software (7000 Hz). Series 7 is optimised for automated test processes with PC control (14,000 Hz). More in our digital force gauge guide.

Which interfaces do the gauges have?

Series 2 and 3 have a USB interface. Series 4, 5 and 7 additionally offer RS-232, an analog output and a Mitutoyo output.

What are digital force gauges used for?

For example for quality testing in production, incoming goods inspection, tension and compression tests on components, laboratory and development tests, mobile on-site measurements and series and end-of-line testing.

Can DISA calibrate the force gauges?

Yes. As the European service center of Mark-10, we calibrate and repair the gauges in Sarnen. Our laboratory is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 (SCS 0083) and calibrates force with an SCS certificate up to 50 kN. More on the calibration page.
