What is an indicator?

An indicator (also called a display unit or weighing terminal) evaluates the signal of a sensor, displays the reading and makes it available via interfaces for further processing.

Which indicators does DISA offer?

From Mark-10 the indicators M3I, M5I and M7I for force and torque sensors. From Baykon the weighing terminals BX10, BX11, BX23 and BX23D, BX25 and BX25D, BX30 and BX30D, BX30 Plus and BX30D Plus, and the TX20 digital transmitter. More in the indicator guide.

Which unit for Mark-10 sensors?

The Mark-10 indicators M3I, M5I and M7I are designed for use with force and torque sensors. Thanks to Plug & Test, sensors can be connected quickly and configured automatically.

Which interfaces are available?

Mark-10 M3I: USB. Mark-10 M5I and M7I: USB, RS-232, Mitutoyo and analog. Baykon weighing terminals, depending on the model: RS232C, RS485, Ethernet TCP/IP, analog output, digital inputs and outputs and fieldbuses such as EtherNet/IP, Profibus, Profinet or CANopen.

Which units are suitable for harsh or wet environments?

The Baykon BX23 and BX23D have an IP67 stainless steel housing. The panel-mount BX30 and BX30D have an IP67 stainless steel front. The BX25 and BX30 Plus are designed for wet, hygienic and harsh industrial areas.

Which weighing functions do the Baykon terminals offer?

Depending on the application, the BX25 and BX30 Plus can be programmed for weighing, labelling, check weighing, classifying, filling and dynamic weighing. The BX25 additionally offers piece counting and two platform connections with a total scale, the BX30 Plus a peak memory.

What does the TX20 transmitter do?

The Baykon TX20 digital transmitter is intended for force, torque and pressure measurement as well as static and dynamic weighing. It transmits the readings via industrial communication protocols to a PLC, SCADA or PC and supports Ethernet daisy chaining.
