WT3-201M Cable Tensile Tester

The WT3-201M motorized cable pull tester is designed to measure pull-out forces of up to 1 kN for cable and pipe connections. The tester meets numerous UL, ISO, ASTM, SAE, MIL, and other requirements for destructive testing. Non-destructive testing is also possible, such as pulling up to a load or holding a load for a specified period of time in accordance with the requirements of UL 486A/B. Programmable pass/fail limits with red and green indicators and audible alarms help identify non-compliant samples. The tester is suitable for most types of insulation and for cable diameters up to 6.3 mm. Samples can be sent to Mark-10 for evaluation prior to purchase. Autostart automatically begins testing when the wire sample is loaded. If the sample breaks, the tester can automatically reverse, output the peak force, save the peak force, and automatically reset the display to zero, thereby increasing test throughput. Further testing efficiency is achieved through the available profile function, which allows multiple test settings to be saved and recalled as needed. The built-in data storage and statistical calculations support up to 2,000 data points, with a date and time stamp available for each stored data point. Data can be transferred to a PC or other data collector via USB, RS-232, Mitutoyo (Digimatic), or analog outputs. The WT3-201M includes the MESUR® Lite data acquisition software. MESUR® Lite tabulates continuous or single-point data. Exporting to Excel with a single mouse click allows for further data processing.
