WT-205 Cable Tensile Tester

The WT-205 cable pull tester is designed to measure the pull-out force of crimped cable and conduit connections. An ergonomic lever allows for easy operation with a crimping force of up to 1 kN. The adjustable cable lug grip features multiple slots for cable diameters up to 6.3 mm. The tester is suitable for most types of insulation. A large, backlit graphic LCD displays easy-to-read values, including real-time force, peak force, programmable pass/fail limits, units of measurement, and more. Data can be transferred to a PC or other data collector via USB, RS-232, Mitutoyo (Digimatic), or analog outputs. An analog load bar is displayed on the screen to graphically represent the applied force. An integrated data memory for up to 1,000 measurement values is included, as are statistical functions and output to a PC. The unique automatic output/data storage/zeroing feature in the event of specimen breakage contributes to the automation of testing processes. An optional ring clamp attachment can be used to secure ring connections, and an optional carrying case enables easy and safe transport.
