An electric screwdriver tightens screws with a consistent torque and shuts off as soon as the set value is reached. Depending on the series, this is done by a mechanical clutch or by a control unit that monitors torque and angle.

Frequently asked questions
Clutch, current consumption or transducer: what is the difference?
With the FIAM E8C, the Delvo DLV and the Hios VBH, a mechanical clutch shuts off as soon as the set torque is reached. The FIAM E8CC controls torque and angle via the current consumption of the motor. The FIAM E8CA measures torque and angle with an integrated transducer.
Which electric screwdrivers are suitable for very small screws?
The Hios BL and CL series and the Delvo DLV start at 0.02 Nm. For electronics and precision assembly, the Hios BL and CL are also available as ESD versions, and the Hios BLG has an antistatic housing.
What do I need in addition to the screwdriver?
The FIAM eTensil screwdrivers work with a power or control unit of the TPU range. Delvo DLV and Hios VBH are connected directly to 230 V, the Hios BL, BLG and CL series need a matching power supply such as NS25 or T-45. The Hios VBH may only be operated with a reaction arm.
