A digital torque gauge measures torque in the clockwise and counterclockwise direction. Depending on the test object, there are devices for components and samples, for torque tools such as screwdrivers and wrenches, or for closures.

Four criteria for your choice
1. Test object
- Components and samples: TT03, also with a torque sensor with drill chuck to grip a sample, drill bit or fixture
- Torque tools: TT02 for manual, electric and pneumatic screwdrivers and wrenches, and the Hios HP series
- Closures: TT01 with adjustable jaws or the portable TT03C with universal grip for closures from 16.5 to 39.4 mm in diameter
- Your own fixtures: TT05 with a mounting plate with threaded holes
2. Measuring range
- TT03: models from 7 Ncm to 1150 Ncm
- TT03C: models from 135 Ncm to 1150 Ncm
- TT01, TT02 and TT05: models from 1.35 Nm to 11.5 Nm
- Hios HP-10: 0.015 to 1 Nm, HP-100: 0.15 to 10 Nm
3. Accuracy and sampling rate
- TT01, TT02 and TT05: ±0.3% and 7000 Hz, so that torque peaks are reliably captured
- TT03 and TT03C: ±0.5% of full scale and 2000 Hz
- Hios HP series: ±0.5% of full scale according to the data sheet, sampling rate not stated
- The TT02 also calculates the 1st and 2nd peak, which is useful for click-type tools
4. Data output
- TT01, TT02 and TT05: USB, RS-232, Mitutoyo and analog
- TT03: USB, the TT03C includes MESUR Lite software
- Hios HP series: data transfer as standard, wireless or by cable, torque curve displayed graphically
Calibration and service in Sarnen
Our calibration laboratory in Sarnen is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 (SCS 0083) and calibrates torque gauges up to 1000 Nm. As the European service center of Mark-10, we also handle repairs.
Frequently asked questions
How do I test torque screwdrivers and wrenches?
With the Mark-10 TT02 series. It tests manual, electric and pneumatic torque screwdrivers, wrenches and other tools, has a 3/8″ square drive for common bits and attachments and is suitable for production environments.
How do I measure closure torque?
The TT01 series measures application and removal torque of bottle closures up to 11.5 Nm, with adjustable jaws for many container shapes. The portable TT03C tests cap closures without the closure having to be secured in a fixture.
Can I also use the gauge on a test stand?
Yes. The TT03 can be used handheld or mounted on a test stand. For tests on closures and fasteners, DISA offers the torque test benches TST and TSTM-DC from Mark-10.
